I recently visited Picos de Europa National Park in February and was blown away by the winter scenery. The Covadonga Lakes, with their turquoise waters and snow-covered peaks, were absolutely stunning. The Mirador entre Lagos offered a breathtaking panoramic view of the lakes and mountains. Bird lovers can spot the rare Yellow-billed Chough in the park. The charming village of Cangas de Onis, nestled in the park, is also worth exploring for its Roman bridge and Santa Maria church. Overall, Picos de Europa offers a unique and beautiful perspective even in the winter months.
