About this park

History

The park grew through land acquisition and conservation partnerships around Brandywine Creek. A 1999 easement protected Nemours woodland, followed by a substantial donation in 2015. The official donation account explains this connection. The bridge’s later replacement followed severe storm damage in 2021.
