Description

Kootenay National Park is located in the southeastern corner of British Columbia and was established in 1920. Spanning over 1,406 square kilometers, this park offers a variety of activities and sights for visitors to explore and enjoy.

The park is broken into three distinct areas- the alpine, the montane and the sub-alpine zones and park highlights include an incredible collection of hot springs just south of the city of Invermere and unique hoodoos, which are bizarre rock formations, located in the same location.
