Pinnacles National Park is a spectacular US National Park located in the central coast region of California. The park is composed of two distinct sections divided by the cities of Soledad and Paicines. The main section situated east of the cities is known as the East Pinnacles and the section to the west is known as the West Pinnacles. Both sections span over nearly 30,000 acres of awe-inspiring scenery that commands a backdrop of soaring mountains, picturesque valleys, and ancient rock formations. The rugged terrain is home to a diverse array of flora, fauna, and geological features.

On top of the rich ecosystem, Pinnacles National Park is also home to a rich human history. Native people, who called the area Chalon, inhabited the hills and valleys centuries ago. Today, their legacy lives on through the Muwekma Ohlone tribe who protect the sacred sites and cultural history of the park.
