The swimming beach has no lifeguard and is about a half-mile walk from parking. The backpack campground requires a strenuous walk of about three-quarters of a mile. Wear suitable footwear and choose your load and route accordingly. Check river and trail conditions before descending from the bluffs.

Keep pets on a leash no longer than six feet, clean up after them, and keep them out of buildings and the swimming beach area. Stay on trails designated for your activity. Use approved purchased firewood rather than gathering it in the park.
