The rugged, wild environment of Pacific Rim National Park Reserve has been sculpted by the sea and the surf for centuries, giving it the feel of the Wild West. Visitors can experience a variety of landscapes and activities, including beaches, lakes and rivers, rainforests, and clearings with old-growth forest. Long Beach, the most popular and easily accessible part of the park, has wide expanses of white sand beach, spectacular views of Clayoquot Sound, and plenty of recreation opportunities.
