Slide Rock State Park is a historic and one-of-a-kind Arizona State Park located in the Oak Creek Canyon near Sedona. The park was named after an 84-foot natural-rock "slide" formed from the erosion of the creek bed. The formation creates an incredibly unique and thrilling water-sliding experience for visitors.

Slide Rock consists of 43 acres of stunning red rock formations, lush vegetation, and naturally occurring, picturesque swimming holes. The swimming holes are popular for sunbathing, tubing, and of course, rock-sliding. With the creek water gentle cascading, it is the ideal spot to cool off in the hot Arizona summer months.

Visitors to Slide Rock State Park are welcome to explore the grounds and observe the natural beauty throughout the park.
