About this park

History

Oregon purchased the property from Lane County in 1931. The Civilian Conservation Corps developed picnic facilities around 1935.

Wildlife and habitat

Kingfishers use the stream corridor. Cutthroat trout occur in the river. Beneath the Douglas firs, the vegetation includes maple, alder, and Pacific yew.
