Torngat Mountains National Park is located in Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. Established in 2008, Torngat Mountains National Park covers a total area of 9,700 square kilometers (3,765 square miles) and is the country’s northernmost national park. Not only does the park offer stunning landscapes, but it also provides a rare glimpse into the culture and spirituality of the Inuit.

The park is primarily comprised of boreal forest, alpine-like tundra, and dramatic fjords, mountain valleys and towering peaks. The highest point of the Torngats rises to an impressive 1652 meters above sea level.
